Beginning James Wright Meaning
What does James Wright's poem Banning mean? 3
(I had to write an article about it and I can't understand its meaning or symbolism. Please help me! I'd like some text by line, but the overall tone or story would be great. Guess it's text? Or story? Thanks :)
The moon drops one or two wings in the field.
Bucky is listening.
Stop the nonsense.
now.
You're there, young moon, trying.
Wings.
Between the trees, a slender woman casts a beautiful shadow.
Out of your face, and now in the air, gone now
Willie, in the air.
I am alone with an old man, I do not dare to breathe.
Or change.
I'm listening.
The wheat is in its darkness.
And I'm supporting myself.
I think this poem sounds more like a narrative than a song. And really beautiful poem. It seems to me that someone is watching TPS or a woman in the dark. The message may mean that if someone sees something that is not there, they may be able to keep it secret. Otherwise, the secret may come back and upset the person.
I help you!
I now!
Clear James Wright.
