What Is Between 1 2 And 3 4
Which number is between 1/2 and 3/4 on the number line? 3
A.16 / 5
B.3 / 8
Vs. 5/8
D.16 / 11
ME 7/8
Can you tell me what you got?
updateThanks guys, I can't believe I've lost the fact that I've been working on this satellite package for a while.
Vs. 5/8
1/2 = 4/8
3/4 = 6/8
5/8 is in the middle.
5/8 seconds
The way you want to respond is ...
A) 1_1 / 8_2 / 8_3 / 8_4 / 8_5 / 8_6 / 8_7 / 8_2
B) 1 _____ 1/4 _____ 2 / 4_ l__3 / 4 _____ 2
C) 1 ________ 1 / 2__ l ________ 2
Then look between lines #B and C and find your way to line A (draw sws).
The second method is to make a circle and divide it into 8 parts. Now paint the semicircle and 3/4 circle (2/4 overlap 1/2) and now forget the part you overlapped when you painted 3/4 (1/2). Then cut the remaining (1/4) in half, but since it is an 8/8 circle, there should be colored lines and not overlapping. Count all the triangles until you reach a triangle between 1/2 and 1/4. It's complicated but can be easy to draw on paper.
(I've only used uppercase letters to change direction, sorry if that bothers you)
If you can find a simple part, this is the method you can use.
Forget 1/2 = 4/8 and 3/4 = 6/8 8 ... 1 2 3 (4) 5 (6) What is between 4 and 6?
Optional: One trick to find the equivalent (equal, even, etc.) is to find a multiple of the number that needs to be multiplied by another number (letter).
1/2: 2, (4), 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20
3/4: (4) STOP (We don't need to go any further, but you can)
Now find 2 identical numbers.
Log out, see #s with () around them ...
1 / (2): 1x (2) = 2, 2x (2) = 4, 3x (2) = 6, 4x (2) = 8, 5x (2) = 10, etc.
3 / (4): 1x (4) = 4, (if I continue) 2x (4) = 8 3x (4) = 12 4x (4) = 16
Continued:
1 / 2x4 = 4/8
3 / 4x4 = 6/8
Multiply: Just multiply the number (first number) and the denominator (second number) by the last number (4).
It may seem long, but it is not.
Now you can use it when you need to answer a question. It all seems too long and tiring, but if you can do it mentally, it is not entirely correct.
The answer is a. 5/8 1/2 is equal to 4/8 and 3/4 is equal to 6/8. To answer this type of question, you must have the same denominator (number below) for both parts. Then use the counter (top number) to determine the answer. You can prove that 4 is the same denominator first (1/2 = 2/4). In this case, the point between 2 and 3 is 2.5, but you can't write 2.5 / 4 as a component. This means you must use a different (higher) denominator. The next thing you can multiply by 2 and 4 is 8. Since you have 4/8 and 6/8, it's easy to see that 5/8 is the answer because 5 is half between 4 and 6.
Vs. 5/8.
The number between the two is the average of the two numbers. Find the least common denominator (4), change two numbers so that they have the same denominator (2/4 and 3/4), combine these two numbers together (2/4 + 3/4 = 5) / 4), and then divide the numbers where 2.5 / 4 × 2 is 5/4 x 1/2 = 5/8
5/8, you also need to find a common denominator. So I changed 1/2 to 4/8, which is basically the same thing. Then change 3/4 to 6/8. Now that we have 4/8 and 6/8, obviously 5/8 will be in between.
You have 1/2 and 3/4, right? Try to keep both in the same denominator: in this case it could be 4 or 2, I suggest 4: then change to 1/2: you multiply 1 and 2 by 2: 2/4 Need to give So you have 2/4 and 3/4. Which is half way? 2.5 / 4, to get a number you have to multiply 2.5 and 4 by 2: you get 5/8, and that's the answer _
What Is Between 1 2 And 3 4
What Is Between 1 2 And 3 4
5/8 1/2 = 4/8. 3/4 = 6/8
1/2 = 4/8 and 3/4 = 6/8, so the half between 4/8 and 6/8 is 5/8
What Is Between 1 2 And 3 4
What Is Between 1 2 And 3 4
1/2 = 2/4 = 3/6 = 4/8
Make a number and denominator (# above and below), multiply by 4, which is 4/8. it is
3/4 = 6/8
Get 3/4 times 2 = 6/8.
What's between 4 and 6?
5/8
Basically, you're trying to find an equivalent for a fraction, and when you find a common denominator, look for the middle number for the number.
For example, you study!
Vs.
They have the same denominator (4), so multiply 1/2 by 2/2 and you get 2/4 and 3/4, but not half, then level 8, so multiply both parts by 2. Give and you will get 4/8. And 6/8 and the center is 5/8.
C.5 / 8
1/2 = 4/8
3/4 = 6/8
Right in the middle is our friend 5/8.
