Can I find yarn in Asda, Sainsburys or Tesco?

I want to make baby blankets, but I don't know where to find wool.

I didn't want to buy online because I wanted to see what I bought.

Not that I know, but Wilkinson has acrylic yarns as well as Danish Tiger SP, which can be found at some spinning centers. The number of dunelms is limited. There are sometimes wool stalls in the street markets. I'll do a Google SP near you and there will definitely be one or two. This will be very helpful if you identify your place of residence.
