I'm trying to fix it. I recently got a sudden 10 Mbps connection and it is a good SD but I am facing terrible loss of packet. I tried many things, connected the laptop to the Ethernet cable and saw no difference in packet loss. I also cut all the cables from the wireless cable modem. I do not understand Help

1. Use the n option when pinging and add a value of 20 or 25 for further results of the equation. It will return 5 times more than usual.

2. When pinging, email your information to your ISP's customer service representative so they can see your results.

3. Use the ping command several times throughout the day and record any results for use with number 2. Also run some TRACERT commands.

4. Do you have occasional slow internet connection or lost connection due to too many lost packets?

5. You indicate that you have disconnected all cables. Have you checked all the physical connections to the modem? Coaxial cable connection from modem and socket? Have you tried another coaxial cable to see if it is a cable? What does it feel like to transfer a modem to another coaxial port? They will likely try to sell you a Sauard or Wire Protection service, which will ensure that you will not be billed for the technician coming to your home. When a technician arrives at your home, they should check your coaxial connector and fix the problem if it is a connector. If it looks like a smashing line sticking out of the faucet on the outside, you'll also need to fix it. If everyone in your area is experiencing the same packet loss and they are complaining about Suddenlink, chances are there is a problem with the channel or node.
