Status Codes - How To Discuss

Status Codes

See Response Codes. Status codes are another way to refer to the same thing. HTTP status response codes are three-character codes that indicate whether a request to the web server was successful.

Response codes sent by the server when a link is clicked, a web page or file is requested, or a form is submitted. Common HTTP Status Codes Important for SEO

Status codes or HTTP status codes are responses that a website server gives to a browser when the browser sends a request. For example, if you try to access a web page from your computer and get a 404 error page, it is the website server that responds to your browser's request to access that page, indicating that it does not exist. There are five classes of status codes, most of which are invisible, such as the B.2xx status codes that indicate that a browser request has been successfully processed.
