Product Configurator is stand-alone software that supports insurance product development activities, including product pricing, modeling, and testing. The core components are the workstation, the calculator and the graphical user interface. While many policy management solutions have product management capabilities, product configurators are standalone solutions that allow companies with multiple business units or multiple core systems to use them to create a repository of company products.
