Multimedia Messaging Service - How To Discuss

Multimedia Messaging Service
Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is a 3GPP mobile messaging standard that supports the exchange of images, sound, graphics and speech. Unlike EMS, MMS is not based on established messaging technologies (such as SMS). Instead, network operators are being forced to implement new infrastructure, including a multimedia messaging service center. It uses wireless means to send messages and requires MMS functionality on mobile devices. The MMS standard is jointly defined by 3GPP (TS 23.140) and the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) with input from the WAP forum. MMS supports many features that cannot be provided by established mobile messaging standards.
