Management Information Base - How To Discuss

Management Information Base
The Management Information Base (MIB) is a simple SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) file, a non-relational database that describes monitored devices. Network management platforms track hosts by reading the value of managed resources from the MIB. Management platforms can influence changes to managed resources by changing MIB values (for example, by setting thresholds above which alerts are generated).
