Infonomics
Infonomics is an evolving discipline of information management and accounting with the same or comparable rigor and formality as other traditional assets and liabilities (such as financial, physical and intangible assets and human capital). Infonomics believes that information on its own meets all the criteria for a formal corporate asset and, while not yet recognized by GAAP, companies are increasingly required to act as if information were a real asset.
