How to catch a fly without breaking it? 3
I got an airfly today. I think I found out very soon after that, because it's not rough or dirty. Its wings have been shown solely to give a sense of proportion. I'm trying to figure out how to do this, but I have no experience. I was told to steam it, which I did, and put it in the freezer where it is now.
The article I read that said it should be frozen did not mention whether it would rot after being taken out of the freezer. I see a lot of things that just tell me it's stuck on the mark, but I don't see how to stop it from breaking. If you leave dirt around, it usually melts, and I can imagine the same can be said of the Hermit Fly. Should I store it in an airtight frame?
I don't have much work because I'm on vacation and on the phone. I don't have styrofoam, pins or frames.
In addition to the basic information, I think I have three questions:
1) What is the best way to get airfly with minimum amount of ingredients?
2) What should I do to prevent dental caries?
3) What is the best way to save it for home travel? (Tipperware?)
Thank you very much!

No, no, no, don't alternate between two pages. I have a bunch of errors, including erf. Part of my course is learning to protect insects.
The freezer is only to prevent it from hardening when defrosting, it stays cool when applied.
Take a sheet of styrofoam, cut a trench big enough for Erf. Place the hermit fly in a ditch with its wings flattened on either side of the styrofoam trench, inserting a fine needle through it and not on the wings. Or if it's too small, at the end of a small piece of paper. To keep the feathers flat, take a thin strip of wax paper or other acid-free paper and secure each side of the paper to keep them flat.
You can spray the fenders before you try to order paint, but unfortunately most Erfly paints are in Erfly. The color is maintained by the small blood vessels that flow, so there is no blood and no color :(
Airflies should not fall like us, because insects have ecoscletons, which means their skeletons are outside, they can shrink a little inside, but not much.
Your best bet is to freeze them so you can replace the wings if necessary. Then put a transparent resin like this, it will be completely covered and even a small child will be able to handle it!

You can try to weigh it with a book by placing it between two sheets of paper or make it as heavy as possible with a sheet of paper. Not sure it will work, but it's just an idea :)
