Gifts For Moroccan Mother In Law
What are some great gift ideas for my Moroccan in-laws? 3
I'm from the US and I'm going to Casa Blanca to meet my new in-laws this summer. I want to bring you a nice gift. Any ideas ??
Congratulations on your wedding. I am an American who went to Morocco to marry a wonderful man.
I brought gifts ... I brought maple syrup and they loved it! There is no such thing and my husband's family uses it for every meal that ends! LOL Candy is easy to find here and the bath and work equipment I brought with me was seldom used. Cosmetics are also a personal preference, so I won't use them either. My husband's 21-year-old sister loves the old navy and apostolic clothes I bought. I also brought good quality drinks and they were very good. Here are some delicious cakes and chocolates, but different from the ones we are used to. In fact, whatever you bring will be greatly appreciated.
Have a nice trip to Casa Blanca, this is a beautiful city. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me by email. There is a link to my profile.
My husband just reminded me ... Bring regular American candy, in addition to high quality glue. Here you will find M&Ms, Snickers and Mars bars. I brought Hershey Kisses, Reeses Peanut er Cups and Peppermint Patties and wore them to my wedding. You are a big hit!

I also married a Moroccan woman I met while working in Morocco. The best gifts for Moroccan women are silk scarves (especially if she wears a scarf on her head, my mother-in-law likes new scarves from other countries), chocolate Not too much or walnut her / Toblne chocolate combination my in-laws also like!) I have also brought high quality ■■■■■■■ and pajamas from America for my mother-in-law.
Sportswear for men (especially if they have a favorite American team) or hats, shoes (locals are hard to find in Morocco) or just a small gift if you know they have a special interest (e.g. Golf or football). I have in the past carried my American Hernala sports cap and cross pen (there are no high quality pens in Morocco) because he is a businessman.
Mabruuk (congratulations on the arch) !! And welcome to the world of Morocco !!
I'm Moroccan and I have American friends, they were amazing, when they visited me a month ago they brought me a special alcoholic beverage from Chicago, they told me that this kind of cola could not be found anywhere else. , And that's great. Special!
They brought Chicago Bulls equipment for my brothers which was a great idea. Moroccans love American basketball team, especially Lakers and Chicago Bulls ...
The user who suggested the silk scarf was right, it would be a good idea if your mother wears a used scarf.
If your sister-in-law is 20 years old, know that Moroccan girls love to have fun with American models, unique in Morocco, maybe with SWS Cowboy, various American cosmetics or something else. ..
Hope you enjoy your stay in Morocco!
Welcome!
You already have great ideas. American sweets are fashionable clothes, etc.
While I was there, I realized that everyone wanted to see the pictures from where I came from, my family, even my uses. Also a postcard of yours to take with you. You should bring pictures of your parents and relatives for your new in-laws. You will be very curious. Why not make a (small) PTO for it with pictures of you and your husband who work in the US (everything, bowling, baseball, picnic ...). This is a very special gift for them because they can imagine their life (and their children) there. It will also help them to better identify you and learn more about you. I've also added some old school stitches.
If you have kids who like to sew / knit, you can do some sewing for them. Even just a nice table or fireplace.
Also picture books in the United States. They are curious or something, or where you come from.
Maybe a gift of local indigenous culture? But very practical.
Maple syrup !!
My husband is from Turkey, but we like to live in Morocco and have friends there. My in-laws like sweets. We brought it from Germany / Caa, but my mother-in-law's values are personal, especially pt. I try to send us some messages regularly. I know he proudly passed it on to everyone he met and made him feel even closer to us.

In the bazaars you can buy very cheap but very beautiful and traditional gifts. For example, you can buy a hand-decorated mini tagine that looks great as a decoration. I bought 8 !! They are so cute and they cost only 50p! There are many other things like caring with names in Arach and English. Also keys and jewelry. There are also traditional Moroccan teas that you can buy.
A good license is good. Be it a woman, cosmetics like make-up, or knowing that the ultimate gift of cosmetics is good, such as detergents and creams. You can't find everything in Morocco, but cosmetics are more expensive and bath products are better in the United States.
