Is Costa Rica tough on drinking age? 3

I am 17 years old and I think you are 18 years old for drinking. I just wonder how good the law is. I know it's tough in the United States, but I know it's not in most Latin American countries. Does anyone know by experience? Life?

But if so, Costa Rica is almost ideal. This is important, except for a few places that target the very rich. They don't care about the little ones unless they are well dressed and have money.

But if not, kill yourself. Driving only executes, so don't drive. And don't look too much. Nobody cares, but Costa Rican doesn't like noisy, hateful soldiers. You are not in danger of being caught, but you will attract thieves and other fighters.

And I want to protest against the discrimination that is reflected in some of the other responses. One of them claimed that if he could see the bar, he would do it. Well, they are ready to serve you too. Others suggest that you should look at the bar, but this is not true. There is no such limit. Hesitantly, they serve people and dwarfs as well as people who can no longer live.

I went to Costa Rica with some friends for the spring break and they didn't mind. My sister used to buy. He was 16 and I was 14. We even went to the beach once, and when we grabbed the poptop, someone came and offered us hungry food, even though we were obviously young.

The legal age for drinking alcohol in CR is 18. 18 is the legal driving age for a 16-year-old, and 18 is the age at which you can legally work in Costa Rica. So the difference is that you don't have to wait 21 years to get drunk, but you have to wait 18 years to get a license and legal rights to work.

I went there a few months ago when I was 20 and they never patented me, nor did they look at me as if it could be a patent or anything. They are small but will probably still serve you, but don't be afraid to ask. . . They want your business! And nobody cares about drinking unless you're crazy. If they choose to serve you, go elsewhere until they do!

I was born and raised in Costa Rica until I was 17 years old. I went to America. If I went to the bar with my mom to watch a game or whatever, they wouldn't let me in, I doubt you'll find a drink on the phone.

It may be your vacation, but let someone else drive while you're drinking. The rules are different and most drivers don't care. Check for signs on the streets where you sneeze and on the sidewalk. Get N, but don't do it yourself.

They do not do what I am told. It is generally a written rule that you can buy alcoholic beverages as long as you can see them over the counter. I spent my holidays here this summer.

I know someone who went there and was 16, but basically as long as you can see the bar and not go too high, that's fine.

When you visit some pubs you will not be asked to identify yourself, especially since you are a tourist and the signs are not so strict.

On the phone ... I think they'll ask for your identity.
