Compliance, Safety, Accountability Score Definition:

Launched in December 2010 by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to improve the safety of large trucks by reducing traffic accidents, injuries and deaths. Scores are calculated through a survey and road performance-based safety measurement system (SMS).
