Under no circumstances can you return the marked item for 30 days. If the tag still exists and you still have the receipt, you can return it only on credit (gift card).

You can ask the manager to explain your situation, but this is usually the answer you usually get. If the tag is up to date and you still have the receipt, you can make changes.
