Clinical Data Repository (CDR) - How To Discuss
Isabella Browning
Clinical Data Repository (CDR)
A Clinical Data Repository (CDR) is a collection of detailed, patient-centric health data, typically collected from multi-source IT systems, designed to support a variety of applications. Because CDR is designed to support reuse, we do not classify a database as CDR in a single application. When a CDR contains data that is organized specifically for analysis, it meets the definition of a clinical data warehouse.
