My PS3 model is CHECHL01. I wonder if it's backwards compatible, but I can't find any information about it. Help? 3

The CHECHL01 model is not uncommon and cannot play PS2 games. Only CHECHK01 can read it.

No, you can't use the latest generation PS3 and 80GB. Only the first two generations of 80GB, 60GB and 20GB can play PS2 games with the help of PSN. PSP, PS2 and PS1 powerful storage and good chrome plating. I have 80 GB (like you) but I still have 19 and PS2. If you want to play ps2clic without worrying about having your PS3, buy one on eBay, sp or Amazon (this happened with my 20GB brother)
