Can You Boil Frozen Shrimp

Can you cook frozen shrimp? 3

I have a package in the freezer and I don't know if I should defrost it. I'm new to the kitchen, can you tell? :)

However, I do it all the time. I put my (frozen) straight in cold water. Usually when they are boiling they are almost complete. Try to see if it is pink outside and everywhere. Once this is done, rinse immediately with cold water to stop boiling. If they are up, they are rubber. Cooking water does not need to be salted.

They are also subdued!
