Terms Sadak and Americansong Hilaw? 3
I asked some Filipino friends to explain the terms to me and I received several explanations. The first truth is Sai Dako. As in Bali sdak
1) Someone who speaks fluently.
2) Visayas Islands
3) Common and large areas where Visayan / Cebuano are used (including Mindanao)
What?
US shake:
1) Small flavor that children use to get people's attention, ie raw and green (color and) while Filipinos are slightly more ripe (they are color brothers).
2) One of W's parents in the United States is a Filipino citizen, apparently E, but has never been a U.S. citizen. Still raw and raw (not trained in the US)
3) A Filipino who went to the United States, got a US license, went back to the Philippines and ran away thinking it was a test because he was in the United States and is now an American citizen.
What?
sdak means Sayang Dako, which literally means you are Vizian. In the Vizian or Cebuano languages, dacoit means yes. I usually refer to the Cebuano Group, the largest in Visayas and part of the Mindanao area.
It is usually used to comment on someone you have shot who is not a Visa. Like a person who speaks Tagalog and suddenly sees a certain vizian accent. So tell your friend it's a darling bandit.
Americanong Hilaw is similar to Mestisong Hilaw. This means that he is apparently of American or mixed descent, but lacks the important characteristics or personality of the original or mixed American ancestors. There are Filipinos with clear skin, but their facial features (especially their noses and backs) are very Filipino. It may also refer to children of American blood or fire survivors. Hilaw in Visayan or Cebuano means raw (mostly used for food).
