Betty Crocker Stuffed Pepper Recipe

Ingredients
6 large green peppers
1 pound of ground beef
2 tablespoons chopped onion [I used a cup]
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
1 cup rice or bhai rice, cooked (measured dry while cooking)
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce.
3/4 cup crushed mozzarella cheese
1 tea with Worcestershire sauce [my addition to the recipe]
Instructions
1. Cut thin slices from each pepper stalk. Remove the seeds and wash the meme. Cook the peppers in boiling water till they are covered and left for 5 minutes.
2. Cook the hamburger and onion in a 10-inch set and stir until the hamburger is light and dry. Add salt, garlic salt, cooked rice and 1 cup tomato sauce and heat. [Optionally add Worcestershire sauce]
3. Pour each pepper and hamburger mixture into an 11 x 12 inch non-oil baking dish. Pour the rest of the sauce over the pepper. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Find another 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese.
Makes 6 servings.
Note: Microwave instructions have been deliberately omitted. This dish is definitely cooked.
