Audi Tt Years To Avoid

Audi TT and to avoid problems of the year? 3

I'm looking for a used Audi TT, first generation TT, not current.

I knew I needed a high pressure turbo (225 hp) and a Quattro 6 sd coupe (not convertible). They told me to avoid 00.01. At the moment my budget is 03 and 04 TT, maybe 05 or 06.

Is there anything else to consider when buying a used TT? Not sure what other issues are affecting TT or Audi in general, you should pay attention to them ...

And how much does it cost? My research shows that a TT can cost only $ 14,000 to $ 16,000 in 2004 and 2005.

Thank you very much.

update

If anyone knows the selling price of your TT, please include this information as well. Thank you very much.

In the various models you are looking for, the well-maintained car has no major problems, such as: B. Power steering, suspension, transmission. I can only think of the wheel bearings, which break in the Audi. That said, make sure it is well maintained, as an unrepaired Audi will barely cover more than 160,000 kilometers. If the person selling it has all the appropriate service records, it should be clear.

Audi is the best car on the planet and probably on every planet! They are safe, reliable, secure, environmentally friendly and made from the best materials in the world. They get above average horsepower and miles per gallon and do not rust (unless for some reason ignored or repainted). Its biggest weakness is the sw cold temperature, which hovers around e 50. You may use only Audi Coolant, K Fluid, Transmission Oil, Genuine Power Steering Oil, and only oils that meet 502/505 specifications. Practically it means Mol One, ELF or Amzoil. These specifications should be clearly displayed on the label of the oil used. The only real problem with the 01s (like all German cars this year) is the pixel in the Dashboard Information Center, which fades. This issue has been fixed on 02 vehicles. Unfortunately, the only solution is to change the insert, which is a very expensive solution. You can try the 1800ALLAUDI used serum. If the car is made with Valvoline, you will have to machine wash it and convert it into a synthetic Mol One. The dealer does not seem to know about 01, but it can be easily fixed. They last as long as you maintain timing belt change intervals. Failure to do so is attractive and can result in significant valve replacement costs. I like the Audi brand, as most brands in Europe do. In racing they are called indestructible Audi. They can be cut for better performance, and Audi can extend the warranty on request. amazing!! I now !!
